His arrival at Seattle Grace, followed his profession of love for Owen has caused friction between Owen and his girlfriend, Cristina Yang.

Chandra Wilson as An assistant surgeon general in Seattle Grace Hospital, Miranda Bailey first given a cold, domineering impression, earning the nickname The Nazi. However, his attitude has softened and she developed a maternal role toward residents of the hospital. It has recently undergone a divorce that led her to refuse a fellowship in pediatric surgery.

Isaiah Washington as Preston Burke is a former chief of cardiothoracic surgery. He began a romantic relationship with Cristina Yang, who joined the test when Burke was shot and innervation of the right hand has been interrupted. With his career he had threatened Yang perform some of his surgery, a situation that has disappeared at Burke Derek Shepherd repaired innervation. Burke and Yang have continued their relationship finally ended on their wedding day, when Burke left Yang at the altar.
Isaiah Washington

Chyler Leigh as Resident and half-sister of Meredith Grey, Lexie has been in a long term relationship with Mark Sloan. Known for his photographic memory, she earned the nickname Lexiepedia. At first she was a distance, confrontational relations with Meredith, but they have since intensified. It is often called “Little Grey” by other physicians on staff.
Chyler Leigh

Ellen Pompeo as Resident Meredith Grey is regarded as the central protagonist of the show, and she says the majority of episodes. She began the series as a trainee and has since progressed along his career. His character is defined by his love relationships and the continuing effects of his affair with Richard Webber mother had on her life. It is the best friend Cristina Yang and after a long novel, Meredith married neurosurgeon Derek Shepherd.

Brooke Smith as After the departure of Preston Burke Erica Hahn took his post as chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Seattle Grace. Its quick, a little severe personality was tempered by Callie Torres, with whom she began a relationship. His time at Seattle Grace has ended abruptly, however, when she became discontent with Izzie Stevens, and the lack of discipline after the incident Deny Duquette.
Brooke smith

Owen Hunt, chief of trauma surgery, is the boyfriend of Cristina Yang. Suffering from post-traumatic stress, he struggled with the horrors he experienced while serving in the military in Iraq. He invited his former colleague Teddy Altman to work with him at Seattle Grace, a decision that has caused friction between him and Cristina.

The hard-headed and often discourteous resident Alex Karev has had a series of unhappy relationships throughout his life beginning with his mother. At an early age, he became his defender with a violent father and later his caregiver. While working as a doctor, he was involved with a patient, Ava, but his mental instability strained their relationship and Alex once again adopted a persona carer before admission of Ava in a psychiatric hospital. Subsequently, he began a relationship with Izzie Stevens and they Wed, but their relationship has come under pressure after rejection of Izzie Seattle Grace.
Justin Chamber

Former Chief of OB / GYN and neonatal surgery, and ex-wife of Derek Shepherd, Addison moved to Seattle Grace seeking reconciliation with Derek. After reaching a level of agreement with Derek and realize he was in love with Meredith Grey, Addison left Seattle Grace. The character is now the protagonist of the ABC series Private Practice and continues to make appearances on Grey’s Anatomy.
Kate Walsh

George O’Malley had a less dominant personality in relation to its citizens. Once he had an infatuation with Meredith Grey, who ended when they slept together, and in the middle of Meredith began to cry, humiliating George. He also had a strong friendship with Izzie Stevens and later Lexie Grey. He was once married to Callie Torres, but their relationship ended when he thought he had feelings for Izzie. Both tried a relationship, but decided to stay as friends when they realized their relationship had not chemistry. Unfortunately, George died when a rescue girl from being hit by a bus, to sacrifice instead.
T.R Knight

Arizona Robbins, chief of pediatric surgery, has a playful character, but gets angry when the authority difficult. She entered a relationship with Callie Torres. It is implied that her family had an affiliation with the Army, joined his brother died, and working with the army and she was named after the USS Arizona. It has been revealed to the port of emotional intelligence, insight and advice has been used to broadcast several situations, such as disputes with Callie’s father.
Jessica Capshaw

As chief of neurosurgery, Derek Shepherd earned the nickname McDreamy by the female staff of Seattle Grace. As the male lead, he is known for his love life tortuous. Initially he moved away to Seattle Grace to his ex-wife adultery (Addison Montgomery) and his best friend misleading (Mark Sloan). He then began a long romance with Meredith Grey, which led to their marriage. Recently, he had a somewhat antagonistic relationship with Richard Webber, who believes he is not the hospital administration appropriately. It is now the chief of surgery after the Board of Directors of the Hospital Chief Webber drinking problem.
Patrick Dempsey

Mark Sloan, chief of plastic surgery, has a personality that almost Playboy risk his friendship with Derek having an affair with his wife, Addison Montgomery. However, the management of two to resolve their problems and reaffirm their friendship. He was given the nickname “McSteamy” by the staff. Sloan had a relationship with Lexie Grey, although their relationship ended due to the strain when the daughter of Sloan 18 one night stand with them installed. Sloan’s daughter is also named Sloan. It was later revealed that she is pregnant. Mark wanted to keep the baby, but Sloan has decided to give it up for adoption.
Eric Dane

Growing up in a trailer park and put his newborn daughter for adoption 16 years of age, Izzie has successfully moved up the medical school by paying her bills by modeling. She put her career as a doctor on the line in a risky attempt to get her lover Denny Duquette a heart by cutting his LVAD son. Denny later died, but Izzie has managed to keep his job. Izzie started a relationship with Alex Karev, but their relationship came under strain when she was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. She survived the condition after treatment with interleukin-2, but after restarting, it worked accidentally caused hyperkalemia in patients listed for a kidney transplant. Subsequently, she lost her job, and has since disappeared from Seattle Grace.
Katherine Heigl

An assistant orthopedic surgeon Callie was married to George O’Malley, but later divorced her after he has developed feelings for Izzie Stevens. Later, she had an affair with Erica Hahn lesbian who has been cut short by the departure of Hahn from Seattle Grace. Currently, she is in a happy relationship with the Arizona Robbins
